Chelsea agree deal to sign Filip Jorgensen - Fabrizio Romano
Chelsea have struck a deal to sign Filip Jorgensen, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues have their new goalkeeper. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have finalised an agreement with Villarreal to sign Danish youngster Jorgensen.
The 22-year-old had become Chelsea's top target for the position after Enzo Maresca demanded a new goalkeeper be signed. The Italian is planning to go into the new season with Robert Sanchez as his No.1 but wanted a No.2 to challenge the Spaniard while also being more capable in possession than Djordje Petrovic.

Chelsea moved swiftly to secure the green light of Jorgensen, who previously admitted that it was an honour to be linked with a club like that. Personal terms were not an issue with the shot-stopper and he was keen to get his move to Stamford Bridge.
This he is now set to achieve.
Chelsea seal deal
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea have struck a deal with Villarreal for Jorgensen after positive talks in recent days. An initial bid had clocked in at €20 million, while the LaLiga side were holding out for €25m.
Romano reveals that the two clubs have ultimately settled on a fee of €24.5m, with Jorgensen set to sign a long-term contract in West London, becoming the latest young acquisition by Chelsea.

Negotiations with Villarreal went smoothly due to the excellent relationship between the clubs. Last summer, Chelsea showed themselves willing to pay more than Nicolas Jackson's release clause to sign him from the Yellow Submarine.
Jorgensen is not the only star who has sealed a move to Chelsea today, with Romano also dropping his 'here we go' on Aaron Anselmino's transfer from Boca Juniors to the Premier League giants.
