Chelsea urged to RE-SIGN club legend
Chelsea have been told to re-sign N’Golo Kante following his performances for France at the 2024 European Championship.
The ex-Blues midfielder starred in Germany and he has now been linked with a Premier League return amid interest from West Ham United.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are interested in Kante, as revealed by The Guardian, but they have seen a €18 million offer rejected by Al-Ittihad, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

West Ham have been told they must pay at least €30m to sign Kante this summer, however they remain interested in the Chelsea legend.
Despite the possibility of a Premier League return, Kante is reportedly happy in Saudi Arabia and is unlikely to push for a summer exit.
The France midfielder left Chelsea on a free transfer last summer, but Frank Leboeuf believes his former club should re-sign Kante this summer.

What has been said?
Leboeuf appeared on ESPN’s YouTube channel and he admitted (as per Chelsea Chronicle): “When I saw the article I said, what? Why don’t Chelsea call him back? The guy is from Chelsea.
“We don’t want to see him at West Ham, with all due respect, and I think if West Ham can get him, you know, that’s a very good catch because that guy has proven during the Euros that he was still at the top.”
Kante made 269 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge and he helped Chelsea win six major trophies in a seven-year stint.
However, the Chelsea legend is now 33 years old and given the Blues’ priority of signing young players, a move for Kante seems unlikely.
Enzo Maresca’s side have already signed five new players this summer, namely Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Chelsea are also expected to purchase Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley before the summer transfer window slams shut.
