Seven players could be sold
Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell seven first-team stars as they look to trim down Enzo Maresca’s squad ahead of the new campaign.
Last season, the Blues allowed senior stars Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech and Kepa Arrizabalaga to leave the club on loan. However, this will not happen again.
That is according to The Athletic, who have revealed that only academy players and those under the age of 21 will be loaned out for the 2024-25 season.

The 18-year-old striker has joined the club from Barcelona after the Blues activated his €6 million release clause. The youngster decided to reject a bumper new contract from his boyhood club, instead heading to west London.
Chelsea want Giorgi Mamardashvili
Chelsea have been keeping a keen eye on a number of their transfer targets at Euro 2024 and they are ready to seriously pursue a move for Giorgi Mamardashvili after his performances for Georgia.
The Valencia goalkeeper was outstanding during the group stages and was a key reason why they qualified for the knockout stages.
Georgia may have succumbed to a 4-1 defeat to Spain on Sunday evening, but Mamardashvili’s form at the tournament could earn him a big-money summer move.
Chelsea will face competition from Manchester UInited in the race to sign him, as per Fichajes.
