Chelsea Transfer News Today: Wonderkid OFFER submitted, Duran move OFF, Jorgensen HIJACK avoided
FootballTransfers runs through the latest Chelsea football transfer news updates, including the latest on Jhon Duran, Filip Jorgensen and Guela Doue.
Chelsea make wonderkid offer
Chelsea’s busy transfer window looks set to continue, with another young wonderkid on course to sign and add to Todd Boehly’s long-term vision surrounding the club.
Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Doue will join from Ligue 1 side Rennes for an initial fee of €7m, with an additional €2m in add-ons.
However, Doue is expected to be loaned out to BlueCo affiliates Strasbourg, having reportedly rejected a move to Turkish side Galatasaray earlier this week.
The 21-year-old is the older brother of Desire Doue, who was also being monitored by Chelsea, however he is now in talks with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain over a €60m transfer from Rennes.

Filip Jorgensen hijack avoided
Chelsea are moving swiftly to conclude a deal for Filip Jorgensen to avoid a potential hijack, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues are in the market for a new goalkeeper, who is supposed to provide competition for Robert Sanchez.
This has led to Chelsea making last season's first-choice option Djordje Petrovic available for transfer, all while working on a deal to sign Villarreal shot-stopper Filip Jorgensen, with whom they have been linked for some time.
The Dane only recently penned a new long-term contract with the La Liga side, but after admitting that he is honoured to be linked with the Blues, he quickly showed himself to be keen on the move to Stamford Bridge.
Earlier on Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea had launched an opening bid of €20 million for the 22-year-old Swedish-born goalkeeper.

Chelsea to miss out on Jhon Duran
Jhon Duran finally looks set to leave Aston Villa this summer after months of speculation linking the striker to Chelsea.
The Colombian was one of the names lined up by Chelsea to strengthen their frontline, however, a transfer had so far failed to materialise following negotiations with Villa.
Villa were thought to be holding out for a fee of around €50 million for the 20-year-old, which caused the transfer to stall despite Duran agreeing personal terms with Chelsea.
Now, journalist Pipe Sierra has stated that Duran is close to becoming a West Ham player, with documents expected to be finalised over a deal worth £35 million (€41.5m.)
