Chelsea already admit defeat on THREE Boehly signings
Chelsea are willing to sell Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana and Djordje Petrovic this summer, according to a report.
Todd Boehly and his Clearlake consortium have only been in charge of the Blues for two years, but they have already overseen unprecedented levels of spending, splashing well over €1 billion on transfers in that short period of time.
Dozens of players have arrived at Stamford Bridge over the past two years, but on-pitch success has eluded Chelsea so far under Boehly. There were noticeable improvements last season, with the Blues reaching the Carabao Cup final and surging into the European places late in the campaign under Mauricio Pochettino.

However, the Argentine is now gone and Enzo Maresca is tasked with building on his predecessor's foundation. It has already been a busy summer in west London and this trend is set to continue for the rest of the window.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea have already admitted defeat on three Boehly-era signings.
Chelsea could offload trio
There are many players on the books at Chelsea who could yet leave this summer, with the biggest names including Romelu Lukaku and Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, they predate Boehly's arrival and it is unsurprising that the Blues are desperate to finally offload them.
It is a different story for players who were signed over the past two years. According to the above-mentioned report, Chelsea have made Cesare Casadei and David Datro Fofana available for transfer, with both having been signed as highly-rated youngsters in the summer of 2022.

Neither has managed to establish himself, with the former spending the first half of the season on loan at Maresca's Leicester, while the latter played for Union Berlin and Burnley.
Additionally, Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic. The Serb was only signed last year and displaced Robert Sanchez as the club's number one over the course of the campaign, but club chiefs believe that he is not suited to Maresca's style and are prepared to sell for the right price.
Already last summer, Chelsea offloaded two Boehly signings in the form of Kalidou Koulibaly and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, proving just how uncoordinated their recruitment has been over the past two years.
