Enzo Maresca’s Dirty Dozen: The TWELVE players ‘ready to leave Chelsea’
Chelsea’s summer transfer overhaul is already well underway, with six new signings having arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer, but if more are to be made, space needs to be fashioned in the squad.
As such, Enzo Maresca’s side are prepared to offload as many as 12 players should the right offers come in.
Chelsea, after all, have assembled a sizeable squad in recent years, and it is one that needs to be trimmed down significantly in order to ease the wage bill.

Nicolo Schira has taken to X to report on the players who are up for sale, with the journalist naming the dozen who could go.
He states that Kepa Arrizabalaga, Dorde Petrovic, Gabriel Slonina, Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, Malang Sarr, Cesar Casadei, Andrey Santos, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja, David Datro Fofana and Romelu Lukaku could all depart.
These players have an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €210m, with Sterling offering the greatest contribution to that at €53.7m. Lukaku, meanwhile, is worth €35.2m.

Lukaku closest to leaving
Not all of these players will leave, of course. Chelsea will find the marketplace too difficult to sell them all, yet they could be moved on loan to Strasbourg or elsewhere, while some will doubtless remain.
Lukaku looks the likeliest to depart, with the Belgium international striker already having agreed terms with Napoli to join Antonio Conte’s side if they can offload Victor Osimhen in a timely fashion. Indeed, Conte reportedly wants to rush through a deal for Lukaku but is being hampered by his side’s inability to sell the Nigeria star.
Others, such as Broja and Chalobah, are actively linked to clubs and may well depart if a suitable offer comes in.
Kepa, meanwhile, is known to be waiting on an offer from Real Madrid before deciding his future.
Any more major incoming signings may be reliant on at least some of these deals coming to fruition.
