Fabrizio Romano Transfer News: Nico Williams BLITZ, Chelsea flop HERE WE GO, Victor Osimhen CONTACT
Fabrizio Romano has provided updates on all the big transfer stories, including Nico Williams, Victor Osimhen, Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the Italian transfer expert revealed that former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is on his way to AC Milan, dropping his famous 'here we go' on the deal.
"Alvaro Morata, the captain of the Spanish national team, [is] set to join AC Milan. They will trigger the release clause, €13 million to sign the player from Atletico Madrid."
"Waiting for the formal steps, but it is already 'here we go' because Morata confirmed the agreement with AC Milan on a four-year contract, this will be the agreement until 2028."

More striker movement
Romano then confirmed that Olympique Lyon had successfully managed to hijack Monaco's move for Euro 2024 joint-top scorer Georges Mikautadze.
"He was a new Monaco player, the deal was done, the medical test was scheduled, everything was in place, but Mikautadze will play for Lyon."
"They've been able to hijack the deal on the player's side. Monaco were furious in the last 24 hours with the player and his agents and now he's going to Lyon for €18m."
Additionally, Lyon's hated rivals Marseille will lose star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea star is heading to promoted Saudi side Al-Qadsiah.

Barcelona's Nico Williams blitz
Romano insists that Barcelona are keen to put a swift end to the Nico Williams transfer saga by striking a quick deal. "Barcelona really want to be fast on this deal for Williams."
"They know that Premier League clubs could return for the Spanish winger after the fantastic Euros campaign he had with Spain, so they know about Chelsea's interest, they know about Arsenal's interest."
"But Barca want to be faster on the player's side. This is the mission...Their full focus for the budget is on Williams and the confidence of the Barca board, manager Hansi Flick and all the people at the club is growing."
"Barcelona will make a contract proposal to Williams. They know this is crucial, to agree on the contract, salary and all the details of the deal, to have the green light from the player is the crucial step."
"Barca want to make it happen and then get the green light from LaLiga for Financial Fair Play to sign Williams by triggering the [€58m] release clause at Athletic Bilbao."
New Osimhen contact
Romano proceeded to confirm French reporting that PSG are set for a new round of talks with Napoli for Victor Osimhen. "We know about the interest from Chelsea, but we always said that the only way for Chelsea to go for Osimhen is in case the [financial] package for Osimhen is reduced..."
"The agent of Osimhen is having contacts with PSG, he's been one of the options for PSG for a long time, but it will only be a concrete possibility if PSG manage to sell a striker in the summer transfer window, one player out of Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo Muani."
"Keep an eye also on Saudi clubs for Osimhen because one year ago, they wanted to bring Osimhen to Saudi, it was a really concrete possibility. It didn't happen because Napoli said 'no.' This summer is different and so Saudi could still be a solution for Osimhen."
Napoli, according to Romano, will try to replace Osimhen with Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku if they manage to offload the Nigerian. He is the "top target" for the 2023 Serie A champions and is keen on the move. New Napoli boss Antonio Conte is the Belgian's "favourite manager by far."
Crucial Greenwood days ahead
Romano also dropped an update on the situation of Mason Greenwood and his stalling move to Marseille. "Greenwood remains in negotiations with Marseille. There is a negotiation ongoing on the details of the salary between Marseille and Greenwood."
"Already last week, Marseille agreed on a deal with Man Utd. €30m, add-ons included, but also a 50 per cent sell-on clause, so basically Man Utd will keep 50 per cent of the future sale, it's a very big percentage."
"Now, they need the agreement on the salary, the agreement on the contract...Roberto de Zerbi is pushing, he is insisting, he considers Greenwood a fantastic opportunity for Marseille, the perfect player for his project. So, he is pushing, calling, really trying in every way to make it happen and Marseille consider this week as crucial."
Tel not leaving Bayern
Finally, Romano reiterated that Mathys Tel won't be leaving Bayern this summer despite fresh links to Chelsea. "I'm told that both Bayern and the player together with his agents have no intention to part ways this summer."
"So, despite many clubs being interested in Tel, one of the most talented strikers around, he recently extended his contract at Bayern and his idea is to stay at Bayern."
"He can't wait to work under Vincent Kompany, this is the clear message, and so I can't see Tel leaving Bayern this summer transfer window. This is the position as of today, [it's] very clear that Tel is considered an important part of the Bayern project."
