Hijack confirmed! Man Utd reach 'TOTAL AGREEMENT' in transfer for top Ten Hag target
Manchester United have reached a ‘total agreement’ to sign one of Erik ten Hag’s top transfer targets this summer, hijacking one of their Premier League rivals in the process.
United are looking to strengthen all over the pitch after already sealing the transfers of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro this summer, but the need to sell players first meant that any further deals were put on hold.
One of the players on United’s shortlist had been Noussair Mazraoui, who Ten Hag had been keen to reunite with after managing the right back during his time at Ajax.

But the delay with United’s financial situation allowed West Ham to swoop in and strike an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Mazraoui, with terms over salary and contracts also in place.
However, Mazraoui stalled on signing his contract with West Ham, with the 26-year-old holding out for a move to Old Trafford, and United appear to have made a breakthrough in their hijacking of the deal.
FootMercato claim that a €25 million deal has been struck between Bayern and United, with the player also agreeing personal terms after Ten Hag’s side, although West Ham could still have a part to play in yet another twist in the tale.
West Ham move for Wan-Bissaka with Mazraoui deal off
United’s ability to pursue a deal for Mazraoui is due to the belief that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will leave the club, with the 26-year-old in the final year of his contract.
Mazraoui is seen as a direct replacement for Wan-Bissaka, who is in talks to join West Ham of all clubs, after seeing their bid for the Bayern star collapse.

West Ham are understood to have reached an agreement with United over a transfer but Wan-Bissaka has yet to strike personal terms with the Hammers.
United’s move for Mazraoui appears dependent on Wan-Bissaka’s agreement on a move to West Ham, although FootMercato’s report claims that the salary on offer should convince the defender to move to London.
