Manchester United will need to complete some outgoings before continuing with their summer business, but big earners Harry Maguire and Antony look unlikely to leave.

The Red Devils have been very busy over the past two or so weeks, splashing north of €100 million on Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro after initially struggling to kickstart their summer window.

In the meantime, Man Utd have also been in negotiations with PSG for Manuel Ugarte and Bayern Munich for Matthijs de Ligt and, more recently, Noussair Mazraoui.

All three are keen on making the move to Old Trafford, but Man Utd are currently not in a position to complete any of these deals. Having spent their limited budget on Zirkzee and Yoro, they first need to sell some players.

Antony, Maguire keen to stay

The problem is that several of their big earners who could be offloaded are not keen on leaving their lucrative contracts. €95 million flop Antony is determined to fight for his place and prove his doubters wrong amid some dubious links to Besiktas.

Harry Maguire, meanwhile, one of the players who could unlock the De Ligt deal with his departure, has so far shown no signs of wanting to leave. Moreover, the England international recently insisted that the club have also not communicated any desire to get rid of him.

According to Sky Sports reporter Melissa Reddy, Maguire will not leave Manchester this summer, which could be a problem in Man Utd's bid to raise funds. This also tallies with FootballTransfers information.

In April, we exclusively revealed that Man Utd were planning to retain the former captain's services despite his contract expiring next year. There is a one-year option in his contract and the Red Devils are intent on triggering it.
