Man Utd set for fresh Sancho transfer talks despite Ten Hag U-turn - Romano
Manchester United are set for fresh talks over Jadon Sancho's future despite his return to the first team, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It was a surprising sight earlier in the week when Man Utd posted pictures of Sancho in training on the club's social channels. The Englishman, it will be recalled, was banished from all first-team facilities last September after publically hitting back at coach Erik ten Hag over criticism of his training performances.
When Sancho returned to Carrington for pre-season following a fruitful loan spell back at former club Borussia Dortmund, the 24-year-old and Ten Hag met for a 'positive' face-to-face talk to clear the air. The two decided to draw a line under their previous falling out and start over.

Sancho was allowed to train with the senior team and there were claims that he could now be kept around by the Red Devils, who had previously sought to offload the attacker. Indeed, the fact that Sancho was back training whereas Mason Greenwood was not did seem to suggest that the former's chances of staying were significantly higher.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Sancho's future is not yet set in stone and a fresh round of internal talks will take place in the coming days to arrive at a decision.
Romano on Sancho
Sancho remains a player in demand, with both Juventus and Dortmund keen to sign him permanently, though both will first need to sell before they can afford him.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Romano said of the Englishman: "Jadon Sancho keeps being linked with Juventus, though some reports now also suggest they have switched their focus elsewhere."

“My understanding is that no decision has been made yet on the winger. The first step for Juventus is selling Federico Chiesa and/or Matias Soule, then they will decide which winger they want to sign."
“Man United will discuss the Sancho situation in the next days, he’s now back with the squad and his feeling with Erik ten Hag in the next weeks will be important to understand more on his future.”
