The transfer saga surrounding the 18-year-old does not appear to be close to ending after all. Earlier on Tuesday, The Athletic had reported that Real Madrid were close to reaching an agreement with Lille for a €40 million transfer.

Subsequently, however, Footmercato began claiming that Los Blancos had yet to actually table a formal offer for a fee in that region and that the only proposal Lille had thus far received from them had only been worth €20m.

The report also revealed that Man Utd have started trying to firmly get involved in the story now, having made an offer worth around a whopping €60m.

According to Fabrizio Romano, that offer has now been accepted, but this does not mean that Yoro will be a Man Utd player next season.

Real Madrid relaxed about Yoro

According to the Italian transfer expert, the final decision now rests with the 18-year-old. Lille, having accepted the Red Devils' bid, are said to be pushing for Yoro to change his mind.

They, naturally, want him to move to Man Utd, but the player has his heart set on Real Madrid. It remains to be seen whether they can convince him to give up on his dream of becoming a Galactico.

As far as Real Madrid are concerned, they are relaxed about the situation, according to Romano and Footmercato. They know that the player only wants to join them and they won't be rushed or pushed into breaking the bank for the Frenchman.

They have no intention to splash anything close to €60m on the teenager and are willing to take the risk of ending their pursuit this summer and hoping that Yoro will stay at Lille and see out his contract before moving to the Santiago Bernabeu for free next year.
