The latest Manchester United football transfer news updates, with the hottest updates on all the potential new signings and sales at Old Trafford, including Dani Olmo, Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt.
Man Utd get serious over Olmo
Man Utd are so serious about signing Dani Olmo this summer that they are prepared to sell either Bruno Fernandes or Mason Mount to make way for him.
That is according to Mundo Deportivo (via Football Talk), who report that Man Utd have now made Olmo a key target between now and the end of the transfer window.

Dani Olmo's well publicised €60 million release clause expired on 20 June, but the Leipzig attacking midfielder is still available for sale at a similar price.
The RB Leipzig attacker was one of the most impressive performers at Euro 2024 and the tournament in Germany once again showed that the Spaniard is one of Europe's most underrated players.

De Ligt deal close?
Matthijs de Ligt’s move to Man Utd from Bayern Munich has been on standby for several weeks now, but there has been an indication that the Red Devils may just be close to getting their man.
Despite Bayern suffering an injury setback with new centre-back addition Hiroki Ito picking up an injury, Sky Sports Deutschland indicated that he will not travel with the club on their pre-season tour of South Korea and will instead return to the club on 2 August.
By contrast, Noussair Mazraoui, who is widely expected to leave Bayern for Man Utd if Aaron Wan-Bissaka leaves Old Trafford, has hooked up with his teammates at the Bundesliga club.
West Ham confident on Wan-Bissaka
West Ham “confident” they will complete the signing of Wan-Bissaka, with the Hammers also targeting Borussia Dortmund striker Nicklas Fullkrug.
Florian Plettenberg states: “West Ham are confident they can finalise the deal with Aaron Wan-Bissaka in this transfer window.
“The talks continue to be positive. However, there are still no complete agreements. More work to do.
“All parties involved are also informed that Noussair Mazraoui will move to Manchester United as soon as Wan-Bissaka joins West Ham.”
Denzel Dumfries appears to be distancing himself for a move to United, with the Inter star in talks over an extension at San Siro, Nicolo Schira reports.
Yoro injury blow
Man Utd’s €62m summer signing Leny Yoro faces an extensive layoff due to an injury in a friendly against Arsenal at the weekend.
Yoro has been spotted on crutches, with FootballTransfers of the understanding that he could miss a significant period because of a fractured metatarsal.

Man Utd planning more Chido-Martin signings – Romano
Fabrizio Romano has said that Manchester United are planning to replicate the deal that will see Chido Obi-Martin leave Arsenal for Old Trafford.
A striking sensation in the Gunners’ academy, the 16-year-old striker is set to be confirmed as a Man Utd player following extensive work from Ruud van Nistelrooy to get the job done. The Dutch coach spoke to the player about the Red Devils’ plan for the future, helping them fend off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for the youngster.
Romano has explained that such deals are set to become a cornerstone of Man Utd’s strategy for the future.
Ugarte domino falls
PSG are closing in on signing Joao Neves for €60m with a potential €10m in bonuses. Due to the relatively affordable nature of the deal, this could mean that the French champions may soften their stance on Manuel Ugarte.
Man Utd remain locked in talks with PSG over the Uruguay midfielder and FootballTransfers understands that confidence regarding a potential agreement is growing.
Rabiot in talks
Man Utd are speaking to free agent Adrien Rabiot, who could come into the Old Trafford side as an additional face in the midfield. He could replace Scott McTominay, who is linked with a transfer to Fulham.
Rabiot has confirmed via his social channels that he is leaving Juventus, stating: "After 5 seasons at Juventus, 5 years in Turin, I want to say goodbye and thank you.
"All of you who have been there for me. The club and all its staff. And you fans, always close and very affectionate!"
United have pushed for the midfielder on several occasions in the past but talks have broken down over his wage demands.
Hannibal to Celtic?
Hannibal Mejbri is set to continue his career in Scotland, with Celtic poised to make a move for the Tunisia international, Radio Mosaique FM reports.
He was initially linked to Rangers, but the Hoops are now seeking to hijack the deal, with the Parkhead club potentially looking to replace Matt O’Riley, who is attracting interest from the Premier League.
