Jarrad Branthwaite unlikely
Jarrad Branthwaite is now unlikely to join Man Utd following news of Everton’s imminent sale of Amadou Onana.
The Belgium international, who was admired by the Red Devils, is set to join Aston Villa for around €58 million and with Everton earning a hefty fee for his services, it has enhanced their chances of retaining Branthwaite.

As a result, Man Utd are set to miss out on a player who topped their summer transfer wish-list.
Willy Kambwala to join Villarreal
In other centre-back news, Willy Kambwala is set to join Villarreal in a deal that could reach €11.5m.

According to Manchester Evening News, Villarreal will pay an up-front fee of €5.5m, with a further €6m in add-ons. Man Utd have also inserted a buy-back option and a sell-on clause for the defender.
Kambwala, 19, joined Man Utd for €4m at the age of 16 and he has made 10 first-team appearances for the club.
Meanwhile, Jonny Evans has signed a new contract and Victor Lindelof is also set to be sold.
Ivan Toney wants Man Utd transfer
Brentford forward Ivan Toney wants to join Man Utd, according to BILD’s Christian Falk.
The Red Devils are interested in signing the 28-year-old this summer, despite their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee, and the Englishman’s agent has already informed Brentford of Toney’s desire to leave.
Toney has just one year left on his current Brentford contract, meaning a summer exit is highly likely.
Liverpool join Eberechi Eze race
Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Man Utd target Eberechi Eze.
The Crystal Palace star is currently on England duty at Euro 2024 and he is set to be the subject of a transfer tug-of-war when the tournament concludes.
FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal have contacted Eze’s representatives, while Tottenham Hotspur are keen too.
