Man Utd Transfer News Today: Branthwaite offer REJECTED, Yoro bid ACCEPTED, Ugarte 'ADVANCED'
Manchester United have reportedly seen their second bid for Jarrad Branthwaite rejected by Everton.
The Red Devils submitted a €53.2 million offer for the English defender, with a further €5.9m in add-ons, but the bid was swiftly turned down, according to Manchester Evening News.
Everton want roughly €85m for Branthwaite and have used recent fees paid for Harry Maguire, Wesley Fofana and Josko Gvardiol to justify their valuation.

The Toffees are determined to retain the 22-year-old and have no need to sell, having earned €23.8m from the departures of Ben Godrey and Lewis Dobbin.
Branthwatite’s current contract at Goodison Park runs until 2027.

Leny Yoro bid ‘accepted’
While Man Utd’s Branthwaite bid was rejected, they have seen an offer for Leny Yoro accepted by Lille.
The Ligue 1 side have accepted a bid of over €50m for the French teenager, but a move isn’t guaranteed.
In fact, Yoro still remains determined to join Real Madrid instead.
Lille are eager for the 18-year-old to accept Man Utd’s proposal, but the decision lies with Yoro and a move to Los Blancos remains his priority. Furthermore, Relevo have revealed that Yoro has already agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.
In addition, Fabrizio Romano has said that Man Utd will move on from Yoro if he doesn’t accept the move soon.
Ivan Toney and Dominic Calvert-Lewin wanted
Man Utd are considering Ivan Toney and Dominic Calvert-Lewin as potential striker options, despite the imminent arrival of Joshua Zirkzee, as per The Athletic.
Zirkzee is set to arrive from Bologna for €40m, but the Red Devils are also interested in both Toney and Calvert-Lewin.
Both English forwards have reportedly been discussed as possible summer targets, with Erik ten Hag’s side eyeing a cut-price move.
Manuel Ugarte update
Man Utd’s pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte has reached an ‘advanced stage,’ according to Le10Sport.
The Uruguay international is keen to join the Old Trafford outfit and Man Utd are ready to pay €45m to finalise a deal.
Manchester City and Barcelona are also reportedly interested, however the Red Devils remain confident.
Marseille fans oppose Mason Greenwood pursuit
Marseille fans have started a protest campaign on social media to stop their club from signing Mason Greenwood.
The French giants are currently in talks with Man Utd, having launched a formal proposal in the region of €25 million to €30m.
However, as relayed by RMC, scores of supporters have taken to social media, primarily X, to voice their opposition to this potential transfer with #GreenwoodNotWelcome.
