Chelsea and Man Utd blown out of the water with double wonderkid deal
Paris Saint-Germain are pushing to secure the signings of Desire Doue and Joao Neves, according to French media.
The Ligue 1 champions are stepping up their summer transfer business. So far, it has been a surprisingly low-key window as far as incomings are concerned, with goalkeeper Matvey Safonov the only arrival at the Parc des Princes.
However, this could soon change as PSG are determined to put the money they will now have available following Kylian Mbappe's Real Madrid move to good use. According to L'Equipe, the Parisians are poised to strike deals for Desire Doue and Joao Neves, both in-demand wonderkids who have been heavily linked with Premier League moves.

PSG are 'speeding up negotiations' as they are keen to bring in new recruits as soon as possible, reports the French outlet. After having tabled a formal offer for Doue, PSG are now 'moving quickly' to also jump to the front of the queue for Neves.
PSG keen on double deal
Stade Rennais have thus far rejected both offers they have received for Doue, though there is an acknowledgement that it will be difficult to keep hold of the 19-year-old. After knocking back Bayern Munich's €35 million opening bad, PSG's €45m proposal was also rebuffed. The winger has also been linked with Chelsea.
Additionally, PSG are also in talks with Benfica, via intermediaries, over Neves. The above-mentioned report states that PSG sources deny that a formal offer for the Portuguese has been made, but they concede that conversations over a €70m bid have taken place.

It is stated that PSG are becoming increasingly confident of striking a deal for less than Neves' €120m release clause, with the player now waiting to see whether Benfica are willing to accept a lower offer. Man Utd still consider Neves their dream midfield target, but he is quite simply too expensive.
All of this, of course, comes amid fresh talks between PSG and Napoli over Victor Osimhen. The French club are unwilling to pay his €120m-€130m release clause and their Italian counterparts recognise that such a fee is unrealistic at this point. PSG will launch a full offensive if they can manage to find suitors for one of their current strikers.
