Man Utd to 'SWEEP AWAY' Bayern Munich with enormous Xavi Simons bid
Manchester United are ready to break the bank to sign Xavi Simons from PSG, according to a report in Spain.
Simons is one of the most wanted players on the transfer market. He has made it clear he wants to leave the Ligue 1 club and major sides around Europe have been queueing up to sign him.
Barcelona were one of the leading candidates but have fallen away, while there has been strong interest from the Bundesliga, where Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are both eager to add to their ranks.

Man Utd, though, are not giving up landing the versatile Netherlands international star, whose contract at PSG expires in 2027.
Sport reports that United are lining up a bid in the region of €100 million in order to prise the Dutchman away from the French club with a blow that would "sweep away" their competition in Germany.
Ten Hag has made it no secret he would like to add more attacking firepower to United's ranks - particularly on the flanks, where Simons is a versatile and effective performer. He scored eight Bundesliga goals and created 11 more goals last season, which he spent on loan at Leipzig.

Xavi Simons to Manchester United?
According to Sport, Ten Hag is a fan of the player whose personal advisor is Man Utd coach Ruud van Nistelrooy. The report claims Van Nistelrooy has advised Simons to join Ten Hag at Old Trafford despite interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
United have close links with PSG at the moment. Simons is not the only player the club are in talks to sign from the French side.
Manuel Ugarte is also another one on United's radar with Ten Hag very much determined to bring another holding midfielder to the club.
Meanwhile, Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho is currently believed to be in talks with PSG over a potential move to the French capital.
Given all those negotiations, a move for Simons, who is pushing to leave Paris once again, makes sense.
Joining a club with a Dutch manager and a strong contingent of Dutch players would be an extra incentive for Simons as well. He's shown at Euro 2024 he can make a huge impact at the highest stage and he's definitely ready for a move to the Premier League.
