OFFICIAL: Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah completes Crystal Palace transfer
Eddie Nketiah has completed a permanent transfer from Arsenal to Crystal Palace.
The Gunners striker has officially left the club after all. Speculation surrounding the future of Nketiah had been rampant for months due to his role as a mere third-choice option for Arsenal.
The homegrown was in talks with Olympique de Marseille earlier this summer, but the negotiations came to nothing due to Arsenal's demands. By the time the Gunners reduced their asking price, the Ligue 1 giants had moved on.

Nketiah then appeared close to Nottingham Forest, with a deal being agreed between clubs. However, the 25-year-old could not agree personal terms with Forest and the transfer collapsed.
Now, Nketiah has finally made a move, joining Crystal Palace.
Palace sign Nketiah
The striker has signed for the Selhurst Park outfit in a deal worth a sizeable €30 million, with €25m guaranteed to move into Arsenal's pockets and the rest achievable in potential add-ons.
Palace were long-time admirers of the striker ahead of the deal. FootballTransfers exclusively revealed their interest back in December, but a January move did not materialise.

The Eagles had initially refrained from getting involved in the saga this summer but saw a chance to pounce when his Forest move collapsed and ultimately managed to land the striker.
Oliver Glasner has been desperate to add to his side after a disappointing start to the season that saw his men lose both of their Premier League outings.
With Palace having sold one of their main attacking forces in Michael Olise, the pressure will be on Nketiah to score consistently, something he did not manage to do at Arsenal.
Nketiah managed just 38 goals in 168 appearances for Arsenal after making his senior debut for the club back in 2018.
