Arsenal's Eddie Nketiah sale COLLAPSES - Ornstein
Eddie Nketiah’s proposed move to Nottingham Forest has collapsed, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side unable to reach an agreement with the Arsenal forward.
The two clubs had agreed a deal worth up to €35 million, but the move has now broken down and Nketiah will not be moving to the City Ground.
That is according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who has reported that Nketiah is still expected to leave Arsenal before the end of Deadline Day on 30 August.

Marseille had previously expressed their interest in the Englishman, but they opted to sign Elye Wahi from RC Lens instead.
Bournemouth, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leicester, West Ham and Wolves have all been linked with Nketiah since the start of 2024, but it remains to be seen if any of those clubs will make a concerted effort to sign him this week.
Nketiah scored six goals in 37 appearances for Arsenal last season, although his last goal for the Gunners came against PSV Eindhoven way back in December.

Meanwhile, the Englishman has been an unused substitute during Arsenal’s first two Premier League games of the new season, with Kai Havertz preferred up front.
In addition, he has played just 28 league minutes from a possible 1,260 since the start of March.
Santiago Gimenez to Nottingham Forest?
With their move for Nketiah now over, Nottingham Forest are expected to push ahead in their pursuit of Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez.
They have submitted a €33m offer for the Mexico international, as per Fabrizio Romano, and Gimenez is reportedly keen on the move.
It’s the third proposal that Forest have lodged for the Feyenoord forward and negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue in the coming days.
Gimenez has four goals and two assists in four games so far this season.
