Eddie Nketiah to Crystal Palace
Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah has been granted permission to undergo a medical with Crystal Palace, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
The Englishman’s proposed move to Nottingham Forest collapsed and he is now close to sealing a move to Selhurst Park.
Palace are yet to finalise an agreement with Arsenal, but they have submitted an initial bid worth €29.6 million, and with the Gunners allowing Nketiah to travel across London for his medical, a deal appears close.
Nketiah is expected to become Crystal Palace’s fourth major signing of the summer transfer window.
Fabio Vieira to Porto details
Fabio Vieira has officially re-joined Porto on a season-long loan deal.
Before the move was announced by the club, Fabrizio Romano revealed there are several important clauses included in the move.
The loan fee will be dependent on specific objectives throughout the season, while Porto will face a financial penalty if Vieira doesn’t play in at least 50% of all matches.
Aaron Ramsdale update
Arsenal are still in contact with other clubs regarding a possible exit for Aaron Ramsdale.
Ajax, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth and Southampton have all been linked with a move for the England international and he could leave the Gunners on loan for the season.
The Athletic have confirmed that Arsenal are still pursuing a replacement for Ramsdale, with Espanyol’s Joan Garcia currently their priority target, as exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers.
Michael Kayode competition
Brentford have entered the race to sign Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode, as per Sky Sports.
The Italy U21 international has been linked with a move to Arsenal for the best part of a year, although the Gunners’ interest has seemingly died down following Riccardo Calafiori’s arrival.
