Arsenal Transfer News Today: SHOCK signing to UPGRADE Saka, Osimhen LATEST, Nketiah TWIST
The latest Arsenal football transfer news updates, with the hottest updates on all the potential new signings and sales at the Emirates Stadium, including Victor Osimhen, Kingsley Coman and Julian Alvarez.
Victor Osimhen to Arsenal: The state of play
Chelsea have turned their attention away from Victor Osimhen, according to reports in Italy, but Arsenal remain in the running to sign the Napoli forward.
The Blues are close to signing Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion, which will reduce their chances of signing Osimhen, as per Calciomercato.

This is reaffirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio, who also states Arsenal are in the hunt for the prolific forward.

Arsenal offered star who could take Saka up a level
Arsenal have been handed the opportunity to sign Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich, a player who could offer much-needed support to Bukayo Saka.
Sky Sports Deutschland indicates that Coman is so surplus to requirements at the Allianz Arena that he will be allowed to leave on a loan deal that does not even have a purchase obligation.
PSG lead the way in this regard, but Arsenal could take an interest.
Saka has been used relentlessly by the Gunners in recent seasons, with little opportunity for rest. While the England star may enjoy playing virtually every minute, there is a serious question over whether he is playing too much.
Coman could offer Saka the opportunity for regular rests and, for that reason, could be key to unlocking the player’s best form yet.
Eddie Nketiah twist
Arsenal have softened their stance on the potential sale of Eddie Nketiah, according to French media. The Gunners' demands are now more 'reasonable' and they have 'opened the door' to Olympique Marseille.
The ball is now in the Ligue 1 side's court, but they are still deliberating whether or not to reignite their pursuit. Marseille had moved on to different targets after the Gunners rejected their latest bid, instead making offers for Youssoufa Moukoko and Elye Wahi, both of whom could yet be signed.
Julian Alvarez pursuit over
Arsenal’s hopes of signing Julian Alvarez are all but over.
The Manchester City forward has agreed to join Atletico Madrid, with the Spanish giants due to pay an initial €75m to sign the Argentina international.
Arsenal were interested in signing Alvarez, although the Gunners never lodged an offer and were always behind Atleti and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to purchase him.
Oleksandr Zinchenko transfer hint
Oleksandr Zinchenko looks set to stay at Arsenal after changing his shirt number from No.35 to No.17.
The Ukraine international had been linked with a summer exit following the arrival of Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber’s return to fitness, but it would be a huge shock to see him depart now.
Karl Hein hijack
Real Valladolid have hijacked Charlton Athletic’s push to sign Karl Hein on loan.
FootballTransfers understands that a move to The Valley was poised to be completed, but Real Valladolid are now on the verge of completing a deal for the 22-year-old, as per multiple reports.
Hein, who has 30 caps for Estonia, made his only senior Arsenal appearance to date during a 3-1 Carabao Cup loss to Brighton & Hove Albion in November 2022.
Wonderkid offer
Arsenal have made an offer of more than €25 million for Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Carvalho.
That is according to reports in Brazil, which state the Gunners are pushing to bring in the 16-year-old midfielder from Internacional.
The deal has been spearheaded by Arsenal’s Brazilian transfer chief Edu, who is an expert in the South American market and who reportedly believes that Carvalho has the potential to become a future star.
