Fabrizio Romano reveals Barcelona's next signing after Dani Olmo
Barcelona will try to sign Joao Cancelo after Dani Olmo, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blaugrana have secured their first marquee signing of the summer transfer window. Though official confirmation has yet to come, RB Leipzig star Olmo has completed his medical in Catalunya ahead of a €62 million move back to his boyhood club.
However, despite the significant outlay on the Spain star and Barcelona's tense economic situation, the 26-year-old is not supposed to be the only major arrival of this window.

Barcelona may have missed out on top target Nico Williams, who has decided to stay at Athletic Club, but there are several other players the club have had their eye on all summer. Chief among them, of course, is former loan star Joao Cancelo.
Romano on Cancelo
Cancelo spent the bygone campaign at Barcelona after falling out with Pep Guardiola at Man City and it is an open secret that his career at the Etihad is over.
The Portuguese is keen on returning to Catalunya, but it is not clear whether Barcelona can actually afford him. A fresh loan may be the only realistic solution, but Fabrizio Romano assures Blaugrana fans that sporting director Deco and company will try to bring him back after sealing the Olmo deal.

"Let me say that Barca are still thinking of Joao Cancelo, so the contacts for Cancelo continue between Barca, Man City and the agent of the player Jorge Mendes. But [they are] still waiting to understand with Financial Fair Play how they can make it happen."
"So, Cancelo is waiting for Barca, is hoping for Barca, but still waiting on the green light on the deal. So, it's still at early stages I would say, it's not close yet, but the contacts are still active for Cancelo."
"Waiting to understand if Barca and Man City can find an agreement or if Cancelo will join another club because the plan remains for Cancelo to leave Man City," Romano said on YouTube.
