Chelsea eye THIRD swap deal of the summer
Chelsea are considering yet another swap deal as the Blues look to finalise their summer transfer business.
Enzo Maresca has been heavily backed in the market, with over €240 million spent on new signings since June, but Chelsea remain interested in a number of players.
Napoli’s Victor Osimhen is still a key target, while Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been identified as a cheaper alternative.

The Athletic have now reported that Chelsea could look to initiate a swap deal involving Calvert-Lewin and Armando Broja.
The Albania international is currently training away from the Chelsea first-team, along with Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling and several others, and he is expected to leave Stamford Bridge before Friday’s Deadline.
However, a proposed move to Ipswich Town has seemingly collapsed, largely due to a foot injury, and Chelsea are now looking at alternative options.

Everton are known admirers of Broja, but they don’t currently have the funds to sign him. As a result, Chelsea are now considering a move for Calvert-Lewin - which could enable Everton to sign Broja.
So far this summer, Chelsea have already been involved in a very similar deal - with Joao Felix joining the club in order to ensure Conor Gallagher was sold to Atletico Madrid.
Furthermore, the Blues are also looking at including Raheem Sterling in a bid to sign Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho.
Chelsea’s transfer activity
Chelsea’s immense spending in the transfer market has continued this summer, with the Blues splashing the cash on 10 new players.
Pedro Neto is their most expensive arrival, having joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an initial €60m, while they have also notably added Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.
They are expected to sell Romelu Lukaku to Napoli this week and Axel Disasi could also leave the club amid interest from Newcastle United.
