The Blues are looking to raise funds after yet another summer of lavish spending. Chelsea's business is far from done and they are still in the market for further signings as talks continue over Victor Osimhen, Gabriel Mec and Mike Penders.

However, at this point, some sales will have to be finalised unless Chelsea want to again be at risk of falling foul of financial regulations. Conor Gallagher and Romelu Lukaku are two of the most high-profile candidates to depart, but there are many others whom the Blues are also open to selling.

Homegrown defender Trevoh Chalobah is being actively forced out of the club. After being omitted from the squad for the pre-season tour of the US, he was banished from all first-team facilities in a bid to force through a transfer.

Chalobah has no shortage of suitors, being linked with the likes of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. The latter, it has now been revealed, are not only keen on the 25-year-old.

Palace also want Chukwuemeka

According to The Sun, Crystal Palace are also interested in Carney Chukwuemeka. In fact, it is claimed that they are willing to pay big money for the 20-year-old midfielder.

The Eagles would be prepared to shell out more than €23 million on Chukwuemeka in a bid to sign him permanently, while they have some doubts about a permanent move for Chalobah, the report asserts.

Given that the latter would cost around €30m, Palace prefer an initial loan, but this formula does not appeal to Chelsea, at least at this stage in the window. There is optimism at Selhurst Park that the Blues' stance will soften if they fail to offload the defender before the final days of the window.

As for Chukwuemeka, he also has admirers at Barcelona. Indeed, it has been claimed by Spanish media that he has become the top target for the midfield in Catalunya, though it seems unlikely that they will dip into the market this summer given their wealth of world-class options. Hansi Flick recently confirmed as much in a public statement.
