Madueke proves why Chelsea CAN'T sell him this summer
In the space of just 123 minutes of game time, Noni Madueke proved why Chelsea cannot sell him this summer.
The Englishman has been heavily linked with an exit since Joao Felix’s arrival, with Newcastle United interested, but Madueke is an indispensable player for the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Despite starring in pre-season, Enzo Maresca opted to keep Madueke as an unused substitute against Manchester City, but his recent performances have proven how much of an error that was.

Against Servette on Thursday night, Madueke came off the bench in the 57th minute and he rifled home a right-footed finish to put Chelsea 2-0 up in the tie.
Three days later, he was rewarded with a start versus Wolves and he proved why Chelsea simply cannot sell him.
After a topsy-turvy first-half, Chelsea hit their stride in the second-half and Madueke bagged a hat-trick inside just 14 minutes - with Cole Palmer assisting all three goals.

All three goals were remarkably similar too, with Palmer rolling the ball to Madueke on his outside and the ex-PSV winger finishing smartly.
The England U21 international had only notched 10 goals in 47 Blues appearances before Chelsea’s trip to Molineux on Sunday afternoon, but he brought his shooting boots to Wolverhampton and backed up his pre-match chat.
Before the game, Madueke accidentally posted on his Instagram story: “Everything about this place is s***,” while tagging Wolverhampton as the location.
Just hours later, he bagged a hat-trick as Chelsea romped to a 6-2 victory.

A Noni Madueke masterclass
Nicolas Jackson, Palmer and Joao Felix - on his second Chelsea debut - also got on the scoresheet in a huge result for Enzo Maresca.
Palmer received his fair share of plaudits after four goal contributions, but we’ve come to expect that level of production from ‘Ice-Cold Cole’. With Madueke, it’s a different story.
He has shown glimpses of real promise since his move to Stamford Bridge in 2023, but consistency has always been an issue.
As a result, he will need to keep impacting games in a positive manner, but the current signs suggest that Madueke will be a crucial player for Chelsea this season.
Therefore, selling him simply isn’t an option.
