Conor Gallagher update
Conor Gallagher has returned to London after five days in Madrid. The England international has passed his medical and signed his contract with Diego Simeone’s side, but the move is now in danger.
Samu Omorodion will no longer join Chelsea and with the two deals linked, Gallagher is now in limbo.
Furthermore, Sky Sports have reported that Gallagher will be exiled from Chelsea’s first-team upon his return to Cobham and will instead be forced to train with the club’s U21 side.
Raheem Sterling exit?
In the wake of Pedro Neto’s arrival at Chelsea, Juventus have expressed an interest in signing Raheem Sterling.
However, The Athletic have now cast doubt on the Old Lady's interest.
The report states that there is 'no substance' to links between Sterling and Juventus. In fact, it is claimed that the 29-year-old is fully focused on heading into the new season as a Chelsea player under Enzo Maresca.
Joao Felix talks
With Gallagher’s move to Atletico Madrid in danger, Chelsea are in talks to sign Joao Felix in a bid to ensure the Englishman is still able to join Simeone's side.
Jorge Mendes, Felix’s agent, is in London to discuss a potential move to Chelsea, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Crystal Palace raid
Crystal Palace are interested in Chelsea duo Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka, according to The Sun.
Palace have rejected three separate bids for Marc Guehi, but Newcastle United remain interested in the England international, and Chalobah is seen as a potential replacement.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are reportedly willing to pay up to €23 million to sign Chukwuemeka this summer.
Atletico Madrid want N’Golo Kante
Atletico Madrid have opened talks with Chelsea legend N’Golo Kante, according to Relevo.
Gallagher may still join Atletico Madrid, but the Spanish giants have initiated contact with Kante’s camp as they eye alternatives.
