Chelsea ready to submit NEW Osimhen offer - Romano
Chelsea are REFUSING to give up on their pusuit of Victor Osimhen and are set to make a late bid for the Nigerian striker.
After picking up Marc Guiu from Barcelona, Chelsea have been rebuffed time and time again this summer as they have attempted to sign a striker. Their move for Samu Omorodion fell apart, and they have repeatedly failed to get Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian striker is a long-term target of the Blues, and even though the move seemed to finally be over as Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli closed in on securing Osimhen, to the extent that they were even ready to include a release clause in his contract.

But Fabrizio Romano is now reporting on X that Chelsea have not given up on Osimhen and are talking to the striker about salary, while Al-Ahli already have their offer of €25m/30m net salary on the table.
Chelsea would like to sign Osimhen on loan with an obligation to buy clause in the contract, reports Romano.
Whether the Blues can come to an agreement with Osimhen remains to be seen. The Al-Ahli offer being so big and so concrete will make it harder for Enzo Maresca's men to lure Osimhen with money; and the UEFA Conference League isn't exactly the Champions League in terms of pulling power.
But Chelsea are not deterred and are still pushing to bring themselves the superstar striker they have needed for the last eight years since Diego Costa fell off.

Osimhen's goal record is superb. He's been tearing up Serie A for Napoli, winning the title in 2022/23 and finishing that season as Capocannoniere (top scorer) with 26 goals. All in all he has 76 goals in 133 games for Napoli.
Sancho To Chelsea?
In addition to Osimhen, Chelsea (and Juventus) are still pushing to sign Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho. While Juventus are keen to sign Sancho, there is a growing feeling from them that the player wants to go to Chelsea.

One source has indicated Chelsea prefer to sign him permanently – though all options are being explored. Juventus are only prepared to do a loan.
