Chelsea make INSULTING new offer for Victor Osimhen
Chelsea have tabled a rather insulting new bid for Victor Osimhen, which has immediately been rejected by Napoli.
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea and Napoli held new discussions over a possible transfer for the Nigerian striker.
During negotiations, Chelsea made a verbal offer of no more than €60 million - making it clear they will not go beyond that amount in order to sign the striker.

Napoli have reduced their initial asking price of €130m - Osimhen’s release clause - but still want €100m to sell the player.
CaughtOffside reports that during talks, Napoli were open for around €80 to €90m if it included Romelu Lukaku and/or one of Trevoh Chalobah or Cesare Casadei.
Negotiations have not ended, though, as another meeting will be set up in the coming days to continue talks.
However, there is a big gap right now between the two parties.
CaughtOffside adds that PSG are out of the race right now for Osimhen, while Arsenal also have other priorities, meaning Napoli are in a tough situation in order to sell their star man.
Napoli are desperate to sell Osimhen this summer, with most of their transfer market held up until they can move him on. Napoli will replace Osimhen with Lukaku as soon as they sell the Nigerian.

Osimhen to leave Napoli
Osimhen has decided to leave Napoli this summer, and the Italian club have also agreed to sell to fund new manager Antonio Conte’s transfer campaign.
The 25-year-old saw his relationship with Napoli sour this last season, following the TikTok scandal in which the club’s own social media team mocked his penalty miss with Bologna.
Osimhen had a largely difficult season on the pitch, while Napoli endured a disastrous defence of the Scudetto they won in the 2022-23 season as they finished 10th in Serie A.
The Nigerian had been a key player in the Scudetto campaign, scoring 26 league goals in 32 games.
