CONFIRMED: PSG in talks with Man Utd for €60M Sancho
Paris Saint-Germain have reopened talks with Manchester United over a possible move for Jadon Sancho, FootballTransfers can confirm.
The winger returned from his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer and is back training at Carrington.
Sancho is wanted by PSG but the side also have other targets in mind. We understand that Man Utd will ask for around €60 million for the 24-year-old, though the French club are hoping to bring that valuation down.
Sancho is open to a move to Parc des Princes, but he is also happy to stay and fight for his place, believing he has a better chance of securing a regular spot at Old Trafford.
As FootballTransfers reported last year, some of Sancho's frustration in 2023 stemmed from Erik ten Hag choosing Antony in the starting lineup and favouring him in training, even though they play on opposite sides. But the Dutchman and Sancho have since smoothed things over and are both looking ahead to the new campaign.
We revealed yesterday that Man Utd have made Manuel Ugarte their next priority signing. But sources inform us that any move for the 23-year-old would be separate from the one for Sancho.

Man Utd made an approach for Burnley’s Sander Berge but the priority remains Ugarte.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique does not have the midfielder in his plans for the season ahead but the Ligue 1 champions still remain firm on their €60 million valuation.
Agent Jorge Mendes is in England, and it’s thought that a line of communication will be opened once again regarding a deal for his client.
Sources inform us that there is a degree of confidence a deal will be agreed upon, but likely towards the end of the window when Man Utd can get better terms.

There is an acknowledgement by PSG that Ugarte will leave this window. We have been regularly told by those at the club that Man Utd are not the only side at the table for the 22-year-old.
Ugarte is hoping to join the Old Trafford club after being informed that he will receive limited game-time under Enrique and personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
The Red Devils are looking for a holding midfielder to play alongside Kobbie Mainoo and the No.6 Ugarte is seen as a top target.
Meanwhile, the Clarets want around €25 million for the Norwegian Berge who joined the Lancashire side last year from Sheffield United.
