Man Utd schedule 'SHOWDOWN' talks to unlock summer transfer
Manchester United will reportedly hold “showdown talks” with West Ham United as they look to finalise Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s proposed move to the London Stadium.
The 26-year-old is set to leave Old Trafford this summer and a new round of negotiations have been scheduled for this weekend as West Ham look to finalise a deal for the defender.
That is according to TEAMtalk’s Rudy Galetti, who has reported that Man Utd want around €18 million for Wan-Bissaka.

West Ham, however, believe they can negotiate a lower fee due to the fact he has just one year left on his current contract with the Red Devils.
Wan-Bissaka is reportedly keen on the move as he looks for a new challenge following four years at Man Utd.
Erik ten Hag’s side are under pressure to sell Wan-Bissaka soon, as their deal to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich is reliant on the ex-Crystal Palace star departing.
EXCLUSIVE: Berge an option for Man Utd as Ugarte bid falls short
The Red Devils have reached an agreement to sign the Morocco international, but the move is on hold until Wan-Bissaka is offloaded.
Furthermore, Man Utd may also rekindle their interest in Bayern’s Matthijs de Ligt following a pre-season injury to new signing Leny Yoro. The 18-year-old has been ruled out for three months after suffering a foot injury against Arsenal.
As a result, Man Utd could push to bring in De Ligt, who has already agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfit.
Sander Berge to Man Utd?
In addition to their pursuit of Mazraoui, Man Utd are also hoping to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte. The Parisians will only sell the Uruguay international for €60m, which is €10m more than the Red Devils are currently willing to pay.
In the event that Ugarte is deemed unattainable, Man Utd could turn their attention to Burnley midfielder Sander Berge, as exclusively reported by The Transfers Podcast.
