Manchester United will push to sign Antonee Robinson if they are unable to hijack Brighton & Hove Albion’s move for Ferdi Kadioglu.

Robinson, 27, has been linked with numerous top Premier League clubs over the past year and Man Utd are ready to pursue the USA international during the final few days of the summer window.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are both currently injured, and Erik ten Hag’s side are monitoring multiple left-backs as they eye a solution.

According to Turkish media, Man Utd are hoping to hijack Brighton’s deal for Fenerbahce defender Kadioglu, but the versatile defender looks set to snub the Red Devils in favour of a move to the AMEX Stadium.

As a result, Man Utd are now considering a move for Fulham’s Robinson, according to GiveMeSport.

The 27-year-old has been one of the Premier League’s best-performing left-backs over the past few seasons and he could be set to leave Craven Cottage amid interest from Man Utd.

Chelsea are among the clubs who also admire the Fulham defender, but the Blues appear unlikely to seriously pursue a move due to Enzo Maresca’s style of play.

In addition, Man Utd are considering a move for Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell, following his exile from the Blues’ first-team, but it remains to be seen if a deal is possible.

Ferdi Kadioglu to Brighton

As mentioned, Fenerbahce star Kadioglu is on the verge of joining Brighton and he has already agreed personal terms with the Seagulls.

Fabian Hurzeler is reportedly pushing to finalise a deal for the Turkey international, who is capable of playing at right-back, left-back and in midfield.

Kadioglu, 24, currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of just over €15 million, although Brighton may be forced to pay around €35m to finalise a deal with Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
