Real Madrid eye SHOCK move for underrated Man Utd star
Real Madrid are reportedly considering a shock move for Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot.
Dalot, 25, was one of Man Utd’s standout players during the 2023-24 campaign and Real Madrid are plotting a potential swoop next summer, according to GiveMeSport.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been heavily linked with multiple new full-backs over the past year as they look to address a problem area of the pitch.

Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is considered to be Los Blancos’ primary left-back target, although a deal now looks unlikely to be finalised this summer, while Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold is a target for the opposite flank.
However, Dalot has now emerged as a possible alternative to the England international.
The Portuguese defender’s recent form has attracted interest from Real Madrid and they are now contemplating making a move for the Man Utd star in 2025.

Dalot made 50 appearances in all competitions last season, contributing eight goals and assists, while he featured on two occasions for Portugal at Euro 2024.
The 25-year-old has four years left on his current contract at Old Trafford, after signing an extension last May, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €48.1m.
Real Madrid’s transfer plans
Real Madrid are set to bolster their backline next summer and Dalot is one of their options for the right-back slot.
Leny Yoro was a key centre-back target before his move to Man Utd, while they could push to sign Davies on a free transfer in 2025 if he refuses to sign a contract extension at Bayern.
This summer, the Spanish giants’ recruitment has been focused on attack, with Kylian Mbappe arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain and Endrick joining from Palmeiras for €47.5 million.
Real Madrid kick off their 2024-25 season with the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta on Wednesday 14 August.
