Ten Hag drops MAJOR Sancho exit hint
Erik ten Hag has dropped a major hint regarding Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United by omitting him from the club’s matchday squad to face Fulham.
Sancho, 24, has been heavily linked with a summer departure, and FootballTransfers understands that Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign the former England international.
Furthermore, following his penalty miss during Man Utd’s shootout defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield, Sancho has been dropped by Ten Hag.

Sancho was not included in Man Utd’s squad to face Fulham in their first game of the 2024-25 Premier League season, with youngster Toby Collyer selected on the substitutes bench ahead of him.
It comes after he was exiled by Ten Hag following a public bust-up last September. Following that incident, Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
He scored three goals and provided three assists in 21 appearances for the Bundesliga giants, but they were unable to sign him on a permanent deal due to Man Utd’s asking price.

Man Utd’s summer transfer business
So far this summer, Man Utd have spent €164.5 million on Lille defender Leny Yoro, Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee and Bayern Munich defensive duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Although Man Utd have backed Ten Hag with four major additions this summer, the Red Devils remain interested in purchasing a new central midfielder.
PSG’s Manuel Ugarte remains their priority, although Burnley’s Sander Berge is being considered as a legitimate alternative, as exclusively revealed by The Transfers Podcast.
As things stand, Man Utd are yet to match PSG’s asking price for Ugarte, meaning the deal has stalled. However, given the Parisians’ interest in Sancho, a move could be agreed before the summer transfer window closes at the end of August.
