Kone recently signed with Blackskill, an agency that also represents Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure, who enabled his move to Man Utd.

It’s reported that the Red Devils have paid Guidars approximately £1.2 million for the 18-year-old. Kone made headlines with his standout performances for Mali, particularly during the Under-17 World Cup, where he played a pivotal role in helping his team reach the tournament. His primary role during the competition was as a defensive midfielder, but he demonstrated versatility by also contributing further up the pitch.

The club quickly moved to secure his signature, aiming to make him the latest addition to their roster of young talents, following the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee.

According to reports, the club envisions a future where Kone could potentially partner with Kobbie Mainoo in their midfield and compete with Manuel Ugarte for a spot in the years to come.
