The Red Devils have already added Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee and Lille defender Leny Yoro as INEOS stamp their authority in the market.

However, their summer spending is set to continue and Erik ten Hag’s side are now on the verge of making Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui their third signing of the window.

The Morocco international played under Ten Hag at Ajax and while the Dutchman’s influence in the market has been reduced since Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival, Man Utd remain interested in signing players their head coach knows.

Mazraoui has agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfit and Man Utd have informed the 26-year-old that a deal will be finalised, according to Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna.

The move is expected to be completed once Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s move to West Ham United is confirmed. The Red Devils right-back has reportedly agreed to join Julen Lopetegui’s side, but the final payment details are still yet to be decided.

Once Wan-Bissaka’s departure is announced, Man Utd will sign Mazraoui for a fee of around €20 million.

In addition, the Premier League giants are also interested in purchasing his Bayern team-mate Matthijs de Ligt. Interest had cooled in recent weeks, but Yoro’s pre-season injury means Man Utd could rekindle their interest in the Dutchman.

The Red Devils have already agreed personal terms with De Ligt and must negotiate a fee with Bayern if their pursuit is serious.

Man Utd want Manuel Ugarte

Man Utd are also heavily interested in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

We have been informed that their current offer is €10m less than PSG’s €60m asking price, but the Uruguayan remains the club’s priority target.

In the event that Ugarte is deemed too expensive, the Old Trafford outfit could turn their attention to Burnley midfielder Sander Berge.
