Man Utd could see Ugarte deal now COLLAPSE
Manchester United's deal for Manuel Ugarte could be on the brink after Fabrizio Romano revealed that Casemiro could be set to stay.
The Red Devils are in the market for a midfielder but are tight on budget following further arrivals to their squad.
The club are to set bring in Bayern Munich duo Matthijs de Ligt for €45 million plus a potential €5m and Noussair Mazraoui in for €15m plus €5m in add-ons for the full-back.

Romano said "There are no bids at the moment for Casemiro. Ten Hag confirmed he's expecting him to stay, but keep an eye on Scott McTominay.
"Outgoings are needed to pursue the deal for Manuel Ugarte."
Talks have been ongoing for several weeks, but Man Utd are unwilling to meet PSG’s demands of a transfer fee of around €60 million, while the Ligue 1 club have told FootballTransfers that they will not lower that fee and they have a number of clubs looking at the former Sporting CP man as well.
The club may be forced to consider alternatives. Sander Berge of Burnley was exclusively revealed by FootballTransfers, in conjunction with The Transfers Podcast, to be one of these, and while the hype around this transfer has built, it is still in its relative infancy.
GiveMeSport reports that another alternative for United has emerged in Serie A via Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
Talks were held over a potential deal as far back as March, it is claimed.

FootballTransfers, meanwhile, has exclusively reported that Joao Gomes of Wolverhampton Wanderers is another player the Red Devils are keeping their eyes on.
But even still, Casemiro is the club's biggest earner, taking home £350,00 a week, and moving him on has been an issue. Despite the good display in Man Utd's loss in the Community Shield to Manchester City, the side are unable to bring in fresh blood until the veteran No.6 finds a new club. Casemiro is under contract until 2026 and the Premier League giants have an option of an extra year.
