Man Utd agree deal to sell Scott McTominay - Ornstein
Napoli have agreed a deal to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein.

That is according to Ornstein, who has reported that Napoli will pay around €30 million for the Man Utd star.

However, the deal has not been finalised with McTominay yet, with the 27-year-old needing to agree personal terms with Napoli.
The Scotland midfielder’s current contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in 2025, although Man Utd have the option to extend his stay by a further 12 months if McTominay wants to stay.
If the move goes through, Erik ten Hag’s will have a sell-on clause in the event that Napoli choose to offload McTominay in the future.

McTominay scored 10 goals in 43 appearances for Man Utd last season, while he has appeared as a substitute in both of the Red Devils’ opening two Premier League matches of the new campaign.
Napoli have been chasing a new central midfielder for a while, with Brighton & Hove Albion’s Billy Gilmour also of interest.
Gilmour is still in talks to join the Italian giants, as per multiple reports, and he could join McTominay in Naples.
Manuel Ugarte to Man Utd?
With McTominay set to depart, it will allow Man Utd to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Manuel Ugarte.
The Uruguayan has agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford outfit, but the deal hasn't yet been finalised between the two clubs.
However, there is confidence that an agreement will be reached and Ugarte is expected to join Man Utd before the summer transfer window ends on 30 August.
The 23-year-old could even join Man Utd on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy in 2025.
