The trio of European giants have been the three main teams interested in the Napoli striker this summer.

PSG’s interest had faded in recent weeks but French journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports that they are now considering signing a new striker before the end of the window.

The reason for this is that Gonçalo Ramos has suffered ruptured ankle ligaments that will keep him out for at least three months.

It is reported that Osimhen is confident that PSG will bring him in before the end of the month.

PSG are also Osimhen’s favoured destination.

Napoli are demanding around €100 million to sell Osimhen.

Osimhen to leave Napoli

Osimhen has decided to leave Napoli this summer, and the Italian club have also agreed to sell to fund the rest of new manager Antonio Conte’s transfer campaign.

Romelu Lukaku will be signed from Chelsea as soon as Napoli sell Osimhen.

The 25-year-old Osimhen saw his relationship with Napoli sour last season, following the TikTok scandal in which the club’s own social media team mocked his penalty miss with Bologna.

Osimhen had a largely difficult season on the pitch, while Napoli endured a disastrous defence of the Scudetto they won in the 2022-23 season as they finished 10th in Serie A.

The Nigerian had been a key player in the Scudetto campaign, scoring 26 league goals in 32 games.

He will not play in Napoli’s opening game of this season against Verona.

Conte has decided not to select Osimhen due to his ongoing transfer situation.
