West Ham get EXCITING Fullkrug message as transfer expectations revealed
West Ham expect to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Niclas Fullkrug – and while the Bundesliga club are fighting to retain their centre-forward, they believe they are fighting a losing battle.
Sky Sports Deutschland report that although there is no green light for the Germany international forward yet, with BVB holding out for a price of €30 million, it may just be a matter of time.
West Ham, meanwhile, are offering around €25m, while the 31-year-old will be offered a deal that will run for three years, plus one additional as an option.

Florian Plettenberg confirms: “Borussia Dortmund and West Ham are now approaching each other in the negotiations about Niclas Füllkrug!
“BVB sent a counteroffer in the last few hours and are currently demanding only €30m all-in (25+5). West Ham are offering €25m with bonuses included.
“Not a done deal yet but all parties involved are confident to finalise the deal in the next days. “Fullkrug is ready to sign a contract until 2027 plus one more as an option as revealed.”

Hammers paying a premium for Fullkrug
West Ham have been seeking an effective centre-forward for over a year, and in Fullkrug, who scored 12 times in the Bundesliga last term and also weighed in with three Champions League goals, they believe they have found the answer to their problems.
The Germany international also impressed in a largely cameo role at Euro 2024 and has struck 13 times in 21 games for the national team, underlining the firepower he could bring to the Premier League side.
But the Hammers are paying an expensive price for a player likely in the twilight of his career.
Fullkrug’s Expected Transfer Value (ETV) stands at just €12.5m – which is likely to be less than half the price they pay Dortmund for a player who has never managed more than 16 goals in a season.
