Carragher: 'Man Utd transfer is the best in Premier League history'
Jamie Carragher has named Eric Cantona's transfer to Manchester United as the best in Premier League history.
The Liverpool legend was on the Overlap when he surprised the audience with his take. Carragher set aside the rivalry between the two clubs to claim that the Frenchman's move to Old Trafford was the best of all time.
Cantona joined Leeds midway through the 1991/92 campaign where he helped them win the Division One title. He spent just two seasons at Elland Road, pitching in with 11 goals in his last term there.

But the Whites struggled to retain their form in the newly-formed Premier League, slumping to a 17th-place finish.
Cantona left Leeds for Man Utd for £1 million in 1992, which counts as £42m today adjusted for inflation.
But Carragher has claimed that his move was the best in Premier League history, even more so than N'Golo Kante's to Leicester.
He said: "I'd go for Cantona above (N'Golo) Kante when you think about what United became - they just became a monster."

Carragher was on pundit duty overseeing the Reds' 3-0 win over Man Utd.
During the game, Dominik Szoboszlai had a golden opportunity to score but looked to goad the opposition instead, wasting a chance.
Carragher was unhappy with the Liverpool man and slammed him during the commentary on Sky Sports.
"What is he doing? Is he trying to be cocky?" Carragher blasted. "If United get one back the crowd gets up, we saw yesterday what happened to Everton.
"That’s ridiculous that from Szoboszlai. That’s just ridiculous, it’s unprofessional."
