Man Utd ripped off? Chelsea 'delighted' with Sancho transfer
Chelsea’s decision to sign Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United came about because the Blues felt they were getting such good value for the England winger.
Sancho completed a move from Man Utd to Chelsea on Deadline Day at the end of the summer transfer window, with the Stamford Bridge side having a mandatory purchase clause in the deal, stating that if they finish higher than 15th in the Premier League, they will have to sign him.
The 24-year-old will leave for between €23.7-29.7 million (£20-25m) depending on where they finish in the league, and Enzo Maresca’s side simply felt that was too good an offer to turn down, according to 90Min.

It reports: “Chelsea were delighted with those finances, confident that Sancho will either justify the expense and be a huge success at Stamford Bridge or ultimately be sold on for a similar fee if things do not work out at some point further down the line.
“Sancho also took a pay cut to seal a move to Stamford Bridge and is on lower salary than Sterling, who made a loan move of his own to Arsenal on deadline day, aiding Chelsea's quest to lower their wage bill.
“The business side of things appealed to Chelsea's decision-makers, while on the pitch, Maresca was also impressed. The new boss likes wingers who can attack their defenders out wide and also finish like strikers in the box, and the belief is that Sancho can offer a valuable contribution to the team.”

What is Sancho worth?
Sancho has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €42m, close to double the bottom end of what Chelsea might pay for him.
Even during his lowest ebb at Man Utd, when he was not getting any gametime at all due to falling out with manager Erik ten Hag, his value only dipped as low as €28.9m.
It therefore looks like Chelsea are indeed getting a bargain.
