Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of Eberechi Eze seems to have hit a roadblock, with sources indicating to FootballTransfers that the player's head has been turned by a top-four Premier League club, believed to be Arsenal or Manchester City.

Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana has officially completed a loan move to Turkish club Goztepe SK.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have announced that they have given Nicolas Jackson a two-year contract extension which means he will be with the Stamford Bridge side until 2033.

In other news, Villarreal CEO Fernando Roig Negueroles believes Filip Jorgensen rushed his move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Furthermore, Chelsea have reportedly hired another member of staff from Brighton.

Blues boss Enzo Maresca has also hinted that Ben Chilwell will be welcomed back into the first-team fold after failing to seal an exit this summer.
