'I fu**ing hate football' - Man Utd fans react to latest humiliation

Manchester United supporters have not held back after the club's humiliating 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham.

The Red Devils were once again on the receiving end of an embarrassing scoreline, which has been an all-too-common occurrence under Erik ten Hag over the past two seasons.

After losing 3-0 to Liverpool earlier this campaign, Tottenham went to Old Trafford and also hung three on the Dutchman's side, while Bruno Fernandes controversially saw red in the first half.

Goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke condemned the hosts to their fourth winless Premier League game of the term and the third consecutive winless game across all competitions after draws with Crystal Palace and Twente Enschede.

Club legend Gary Neville called the performance "absolutely disgusting" and described Man Utd as playing like a "pub team" while on commentary duty. Fans had a similar reaction to the game on social media.

Ten Hag making fans hate football

YouTube influencer and professional meme Mark Goldbridge thundered after the second goal: "I fu**ing hate football. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. I hate feeling so fu**ing powerless all the time, I hate feeling so sad all the time."

One fan on X wrote that the game was an "absolute sh**show," while another quipped that, "Erik ten Hag is going to mention he won two

trophies in his post-match conference," alluding to the Dutchman's tendency to point out past achievements to play down deserved criticism.

"Erik ten Hag has spent about £570 million and 2 years building a team which for the first 35 minutes of this game has looked like it could probably challenge for midtable," The Athletic analyst JJ Bull wrote on X.

"There is always a new day," Ten Hag said after the game, but according to Spurs fans at Old Trafford - and likely some Man Utd fans too - he is "getting sacked in the morning."
