Man Utd playing 'pub football': Neville savages Ten Hag in Spurs clash
Gary Neville has torn into Manchester United for their performance against Tottenham.
The Red Devils endured yet another dismal half of football in their clash with Spurs. Brennan Johnson put the visitors ahead at Old Trafford after just three minutes thanks to some brilliant work from centre-back Micky van de Ven beforehand.
Timo Werner and Cristian Romero missed two big chances, while Man Utd could have hit back, having missed two good chances of their own. However, opportunities aside, it was another unimpressive performance from Erik ten Hag's men after back-to-back draws against Crystal Palace and Twente Enschede.

Tottenham were mostly comfortable throughout the half and things went from bad to worse for Man Utd when captain Bruno Fernandes got himself sent off.
Fernandes' dismissal will be a talking point as he slipped into the challenge that got him sent off, but it was probably justified given how high his foot was when he made contact with James Maddison.
Neville slams Man Utd
Regardless of whether you think Fernandes deserved his red card, there is no getting away from the fact that Man Utd's showing once again left a lot to be desired and unsurprisingly drew the ire of fans and pundits alike.
Many on social media have begun calling for Ten Hag's head, though it was recently claimed that club bosses still have 'no appetitive' for a coaching change.

Man Utd legend Gary Neville also joined the chorus of critical voices. He thundered: "At the playing fields just down the road, I suspect there were better teams this morning out there than the one we've seen wearing the red shirts in this first half. It's pub football."
Ten Hag's struggle to convince people that he is the right man for the job is becoming ever more challenging.
