The 24-year-old moved to Old Trafford for €95 million in 2022, but he has underwhelmed since arriving in England and has since fallen down the pecking order at Man Utd.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo are all ahead of Antony as things stand, and the Brazilian has featured for just one minute so far this season.

As a result, the former Ajax star is now pushing to leave Man Utd, according to The Sun.

Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are reportedly in pole position to sign Antony on loan, although they must wrap up a deal before the Turkish summer transfer window slams shut on 13 September.

However, Ajax are also monitoring Antony’s situation and could reportedly look to re-sign him, while the Brazilian has suitors in La Liga, Ligue 1 and the Saudi Pro League.

However, Antony will only leave Man Utd on loan this week, with a permanent departure unlikely to happen until next summer.

The Brazilian’s current contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in 2027, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has dropped from €76.8m to a mere €28m over the past two years.

Since becoming Man Utd’s second-most expensive signing of all time, Antony has made 83 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing just five assists.

Meanwhile, he has only started four Premier League games from a possible 21 since the start of 2024, with Garnacho emerging as Erik ten Hag’s favoured right winger.
