Manchester United have completed the signing of Hubert Graczyk.

In a move that has come completely out of nowhere, the Red Devils have managed to snap up former Arsenal goalkeeper Graczyk for their U21 squad.

The Polish shot-stopper, who represented England at U16, U17 and U18 levels, has signed with Man Utd after his contract at Arsenal expired. The 21-year-old initially joined non-league side Slough on loan last season but returned after just over a month due to a lack of game time.

This won't fill Man Utd fans with confidence, but it is unlikely that Graczyk will be seen in and around a first-team squad on matchdays anytime soon.

There should be more confidence about the seemingly impending arrival of another former Arsenal youngster.

Obi-Martin wait goes on

The player in question is, of course, Chido Obi-Martin. The player already greenlit a move to Old Trafford several weeks ago, but the Premier League's five-step investigation process is taking a fair bit of time.

The league has to investigate transfers of minors between two category one academies. On Wednesday, Liverpool were finally able to announce the signing of Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea almost two months after a deal had originally been agreed.

However, it is seemingly inevitable that Obi-Martin will become a Man Utd player before long. And fans will be much more excited about his arrival than Graczyk as the 16-year-old Dane is regarded as one of the biggest talents in English football.

The striker is coming off a 32-goal season with Arsenal's U18s and could see senior minutes in Erik ten Hag's squad this season as he will be the third-choice striker at the club, though he will, of course, primarily feature in the youth set-up.
