EXCLUSIVE: Man Utd eye Dusan Vlahovic after Van Nistelrooy recommendation
Ruud van Nistelrooy is eager for Manchester United to sign Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic in January, FootballTransfers has been informed.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a Premier League move over the past few years and we understand that Man Utd’s assistant manager is a huge admirer.
Following Van Nistelrooy’s recommendation, Man Utd are planning to scout Vlahovic over the next few months and gauge his interest in a potential mid-season transfer to Old Trafford.

The Juventus star, who has less than two years remaining on his current contract in Turin, has already netted two goals in just three Serie A games so far this season and he is considered to be one of Europe’s top strikers.
Vlahovic was on Arsenal’s radar before he joined Juventus in January 2022, while Man Utd were also linked with the Serbian international last year.
However, the Red Devils are now ready to step up their interest after being urged to consider a move by Van Nistelrooy.

Ruud van Nistelrooy wants Dusan Vlahovic at Man Utd
As exclusively reported by FootballTransfers, Van Nistelrooy was a contender to replace Erik ten Hag this summer, but the Man Utd legend opted to accept an assistant manager role instead.
However, he remains a prime candidate to take over if Man Utd decide to sack Ten Hag at any point over the next few years.
As a result, Man Utd are taking Van Nistelrooy’s advice seriously and are strongly considering a move for Vlahovic during the January transfer window.
Despite the presence of Rasmus Hojlund, the summer acquisition of Joshua Zirkzee and the imminent arrival of Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal, Man Utd are still interested in signing another centre-forward and Vlahovic is among their targets.
The Serbian has 43 goals in 108 appearances for Juventus, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) currently stands at €51.6 million.
