That is according to Fichajes, who report that United have begun discussions with Dembele’s representatives over a transfer to Old Trafford next year.

The report adds that Dembele wants to move to the Premier League and has already made it clear that he is open to leaving PSG to join Man Utd.

Dembele is the fourth most expensive player of all time thanks to his €135 million move to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund back in 2017.

Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag is looking to sign a new right winger, as Antony has proven to be a massive flop since his €100m move from Ajax in 2022.

Dembele can play on the right or left wing, presenting an enticing option for Ten Hag given the inconsistency of Marcus Rashford on the other side over the past year.

Dembele at PSG

Dembele only signed for PSG in the summer of 2023 after the Ligue 1 giants executed his release clause.

PSG paid the €50m fee in his Barcelona contract to take him to the Parc des Princes.

Dembele had had a difficult time at Barcelona with injuries, although he had re-established himself as a key member of the Barcelona team before moving to PSG.

He had an up and down first season with PSG, although he did contribute in helping the team win another Ligue 1 title as well as the Coupe de France and Trophee des Champions.

Dembele only managed six goals in 42 games in all competitions in 2023-24 but he did contribute an impressive 14 assists.

He has been capped 51 times for France, scoring six goals. He was in the France squad that won the 2018 World Cup, as well as the squads for Euro 2020, World Cup 2022 and Euro 2024.
