Man Utd identify priority January target
Manchester United are reportedly hoping to sign Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have been tracking his progress in Norway for over a year and they are now ready to launch a formal pursuit of the 17-year-old in the winter window.
That is according to GiveMeSport, who report that Man Utd were originally planning on signing Nypan next summer, but they are now ready to finalise a deal in January.

The teenager has been frequently compared to both Martin Odegaard and Frenkie de Jong over the past 12 months and Man Utd have sent scouts to watch him in action multiple times as they eye a move in 2025.
Furthermore, following links to the Red Devils’ Nypan recently admitted: “It would obviously be a dream come true to play for Manchester United. I’m aware United has shown some interest.
“But I’m quite adamant that I don’t want to open that door yet. I want to focus on Rosenborg and not think too far ahead.”
Man Utd signed Sekou Kone and Manuel Ugarte during the summer transfer window, but they remain in the market for a new central midfielder amid the uncertain futures of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen.
