Salah drops Liverpool exit BOMBSHELL after Man Utd win

Mohamed Salah has dropped a major hint on his future at Liverpool by admitting this is his “last year at the club.”

The ‘Egyptian King’ has just one year left on his current contract at Anfield and rumours of an exit in 2025 have gathered speed in recent months.

Salah himself added fuel to the fire following Liverpool’s 3-0 victory against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The 32-year-old scored once and provided two assists for Luis Diaz as he continued his sublime record versus the Red Devils, but his post-match comments will come as a hammer blow to Liverpool fans.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah admitted: “I had a good summer and had a long time to myself to try to stay positive because as you know it's my last year at the club.

“I just want to enjoy it and I don't want to think about it. I feel like I'm free to play football and then we'll see what happens next year.

“Coming into the game, I said it could be the last time [I play here with Liverpool].

“No-one at the club has spoken to me about contracts, so I'm just like: 'Okay, I'm playing my last season' and see what happens at the end of the season.

“It's not up to me, but nobody's talked to me from the club. We will see.”

Mohamed Salah to leave Liverpool?

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are also into the final 12 months of their Liverpool contracts, with the Reds facing the prospect of losing arguably their three most important players next summer.

However, ex-Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge believes his former side must extend Salah’s stay at Anfield.

He told Sky Sports: “I would be surprised [if they let him go]. Mo has achieved pretty much everything he could at the club but I've not seen him happier.

“The way he was speaking then was as if, ‘I want to be at the club’. If the club are going to give him what he wants then he'll stay. I really hope he does stay because he's been magnificent.”

Salah has netted over 200 goals for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017, while he already has six goal contributions in just three Premier League matches so far this season.
