Arsenal battle Liverpool for Salah teammate: Bundesliga hotshot 'keen'
Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in Omar Marmoush and the player is keen on a Premier League switch, according to a report.
The Egypt international has been one of the Bundesliga's most exciting players since swapping Wolfsburg for Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.
A fast striker with good technical ability, Marmoush has found a home in Frankfurt after previously failing to live up to his potential. Before, the 25-year-old's versatility was something of a curse as he was often forced to play out wide to accommodate more conventional strikers.

This, however, is no longer the case. Because Marmoush isn't a traditional No.9, he has excelled with the Eagles when played as a lone forward but also in a front two.
Last season, he played primarily alone following the sale of Randal Kolo Muani on Deadline Day, which left Frankfurt unable to sign a replacement. Sasa Kalajdzic and Hugo Ekitike joined in January, but the former tore his ACL after showing early promise and the latter struggled for fitness after six months spent in PSG exile.
Marmoush putting himself in the spotlight
Ekitike's loan was made permanent in the summer and he has struck up a wonderful partnership with Marmoush. The two complement each other brilliantly, though not in the way one would think.
Despite Ekitike standing at 6ft 3in and Marmoush at 6ft 0in, it is not a typical big man, little man pairing with the Frenchman serving as a target player. Instead, the two thrive off their combination play as Ekitike is an exceptionally technically gifted forward.
Thanks to his new partner in crime, the Egypt international has netted three times and provided three assists in four games across all competitions this season, scoring twice against ex-club Wolfsburg at the weekend.

Already in the summer, Marmoush was being courted by Premier League outfits after finding the net 17 times last season. However, no transfer materialised and the forward didn't appear particularly disappointed by it, taking to social media to confirm his decision to stay and thanking Frankfurt fans for the 'love' they have shown him.
Long-time admirers Arsenal and Liverpool remain interested in the striker, however. According to TEAMtalk, Marmoush would be open to moving and his representatives are said to be determined to land him a Premier League job before long.
Frankfurt, it is claimed, are demanding close to €50 million for the 25-year-old. If he keeps up his spectacular form, that price will undoubtedly be seen as value for money.
